Engine Identification
Help us to help you: Different from the HIN # on the back of your boat, your engine has an identification tag or decal located somewhere on it showing a model name & serial number. We may ask you for the Model or Serial numbers of your unit. Here are a few of the common locations to find them.
Model/ Serial Numbers
Outboard ID Tag
Typically have the Model / Serial / Year number tag located on the port or starboard side of the Transom Bracket
MerCruiser Sterndrive
Will typically be on the engine cover
Volvo Penta Sterndrive
Will typically be on the engine cover
